BellSouth BusinessSM Videoconferencing Service can put you face-to-face with people around the world who mean the most to your business — cost-effectively, in real time, with no logistical hassles and no travel costs. Videoconferencing Service provides basic and simple video bridging capabilities for interactive conferencing between multiple locations. This standards-based service uses a Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) or video bridge located in a hub central office, all managed by BellSouth. It connects to customer-owned CODECS and accessory equipment to provide video conferencing with greater capacity, depth of coverage and aggressive price/performance value.

  • Flexible access: BellSouth supports both switched and dedicated access options. This industry-unique capability allows us to bridge between both environments easily and cost-efficiently.
  • Global reach: ISDN-switched access options help BellSouth customers connect with people anywhere in the world — one-to-one, one-to-many or many-to-many.
  • Convenient scheduling: Customers may call, fax or e-mail scheduling requests to the BellSouth Scheduling Center. Conferences can be reserved with as little as 30 minutes to 60 minutes notice during business hours. A certification conference will be scheduled prior to your first actual conference to ensure that all systems are go.
  • Expert troubleshooting: Superior networking management ensures high-quality video bridging and issue resolution. If you need assistance before, during or after your conference, experienced technicians are standing by.
  • Significant capacity: The BellSouth network (including MCU deployment and capacity) is among the largest in the world with more than 1,000 ports of capacity.
